Big Nose Horse FunnyI’m really not into April Fool’s jokes, are you?

In honor of  the day I decided to take a look at a more serious issue, something that is not to be taken lightly: your deep desire to lose weight, to drop the fat, so that you can get fit, healthy, and sexy.

Nope, this isn’t a joke. Do you think it’s funny? I don’t.

I don’t find any humor in the fact that you have a burning desire to get fit, healthy, and sexy. What’s even less funny  are the results you are getting – TODAY – if you are not where you want to be.

Are You 13 – 26 Pounds Lighter?

If you made a New Year’s Resolution to get fit, healthy, and sexy and since January 1st you’ve been taking consistent, fun, healthy action steps, then today you are 13 – 26 pounds lighter….at least! That’s only dropping 1 – 2 pounds of fat per week.

What’s NOT Funny though, is if you are still only dreaming of the fit, healthy, sexy body you desire to live in….but you are not getting the results!

It’s not at all funny if instead of  taking consistent, decisive, healthy action to  drop the fat, increase your muscle tone, and change Your SELF from the inside out so that all of this is fun, easy and effortless….well it’s not funny at all if instead of doing that, you are doing the same thing you’ve been doing for years: talking about losing weight – talking about getting fit – talking about creating a fit, healthy, sexy body, but not doing it.

What’s NOT Funny About Your Desire to Get Fit, Healthy, & Sexy

Are You Living in Tomorrowland?

What’s not funny at all is if you are telling yourself every day (and especially at the end of the day) that tomorrow you will change. Tomorrow you will get your act together. Tomorrow you will commit to change….or on Monday, the 1st of the month, after the holidays…or why not just wait until January 1st 2011?

It’s not funny to live in Tomorrowland and I can tell you from my own experience that that was the most destructive thing I did to myself in the past – telling myself I’d “do it tomorrow”. Guess what?! Today is the tomorrow that you told yourself yesterday would be different. NOW is that day!

Will You Achieve Your Dream?

It’s not a joke that you want to get fit, healthy, and sexy…and stay there.

It’s not funny that you want to once and for all drop the fat, lose the unhealthy weight, and not go back.

It’s not to be laughed at (by you!) that you have a dream of living in your ideal body, but in your Today, your NOW moment, you are not taking action to achieve your dream. Today, you are not moving closer to your dream. Today, you are telling yourself you’ll do it tomorrow. How many years has that been going on?

These results you are living are all signs of an F.A.T. Mindset. A Mindset that is F.A.T. is grounded in Fear Attracting Thoughts. An F.A.T. Mindset is a mindset is a matches your overweight, unhealthy, feel-bad body. Your body matches your inside, where you mindset lives, in your Inner Self.

Imagine where you could be 3 months from today, if only you could take action, stay consistent, and never again have to “look for motivation”. What would that be like? What would it be like to be 13 – 26 pounds lighter on July 1st?? And do it without struggle?

When You Get Serious, It’s Just Not Funny

When you make the decision to get serious about achieving your dream, your dream of living in your ideal fit, health, sexy body, it’s no longer a joke. You do it the only way that works if you want to get there and stay there, meaning no more of the lose/gain/lose/gain stuff.

You finally accept that the only way out is through, and that if you are going to do this without struggle that you must become the person on the inside FIRST.

Become the person on the inside who would naturally, easily, and effortlessly live in the body of your dreams. The person on the inside who would not doubt that she or he could “get there”, and stay there….without struggle, without anxiety, without stress, without battle.

When you do the real work, the inner work that is what The Inner Self Diet is all about, then “the outer work” (the  physical action) becomes easy and effortless. You know, the outer work – the healthy eating, exercising, all of that.  And if you want the outer work  that you take to get fit healthy and sexy to  be easy and  effortless, you  first must do the inner work.

Struggle with Food and Your Body? Not Funny! Not Fun!

If on the other hand,  you want to keep struggling with food and your body, keep “battling the bulge”, keep the lose/gain/lose/gain cycle going, then the way to do that is to continue to ignore the inner work and attempt with all your might to  use your willpower to force yoursel to be different. But how long have you ever been able to keep that up? And is it any fun??

Forcing yourself to change isn’t funny  either, not at all, and it doesn’t work.  It defies Universal Law and anything that defies Universal Law cannot work. What – you want to try to take down the Universe?  Well actually, that’s something else that’s not funny because if you are  struggling  and battling to get fit, healthy, and sexy then you are  currently attempting to defy Universal Law. That’s why you feel the  struggle.

Nope, it’s  certainly not funny, attempting to force yourself to be what you cannot  be because you haven’t yet become the person on the inside….  at least I never thought it was funny – to force, struggle, and battle? Ack, no thanks, not fun and not funny!

I’ll take fun, ease, and joy any day. Along with the outcome of getting fit, healthy, and sexy. Yeah, that sounds a lot better to me, and that’s not funny – it’s wonderful! I’d even say that that’s much much better than any April Fool’s joke, since it’s not a joke when you are getting what you want….the body of your dreams! That’s Fun!
