When you commit to lose weight and change your eating and exercise habits, it is a very exciting thought in the beginning. You have high hopes, enthusiasm and motivation galore; you know that you’re finally going to do it this time. You start out with an abundance of momentum, and over time, this begins to fade. You aren’t seeing the quick results that you expected, even though you are following your diet to the letter.
The expectations that we hold about ourselves will color how far we will go, and whether or not we will attain our ideal body. We must continue to believe during times of slow progress that we can and will succeed. We are the ones who give our dreams power, and we are the only ones that can take the action necessary to achieve them. We must believe in ourselves and expect success, if we want to succeed
