They were obsessed with the scale. Their moods were completely determined by what they saw on the scale. If they weighed themselves and they didn’t like what they saw then they would spend their entire day in a funk.
The scale impacted every area of their life, from their work and their relationships to their emotional eating and their weight! Because their mood was always up and down, isn’t it interesting that the scale was always up and down!
HINT: Where you’ve got it backwards is putting the scale first, and then basing your mood on that. You need to learn how to take full control of your mind and emotions regardless of what the scale says so that you can stick with your healthy lifestyle and get the fat off. When you binge eat and emotionally eat because of what the scale says, what kind of results do you get from that?
