Shame is the heaviest and lowest of vibrations and it’s common that as a binge eater, emotional eater, and compulsive overeater, that you often engage in it. It’s just easy to do.

It’s easy to go there, to feel shame about your overeating and overweight, especially when you feel like you can’t stop. I know what it feels like, I’ve been there before! Something to keep in mind though, is that how you feel is your choice. Yes, your emotions are your choice, as your thoughts are your choice; what you think drives how you feel.

This is very important to accept because if YOU are not the one choosing how you feel, then exactly who is?

The good news however, is that you don’t have to allow shame to hold you back from losing weight for good. In fact, feeling bad about your out-of-control emotional eating and binge eating won’t help you stop it. Those bad feelings of shame only make your overeating worse for you by ingraining the pattern even deeper.
