Have you ever heard of New Diet Every Monday Syndrome? Wow, I had a lot of experience with it! And I’m glad to say that that’s in my past. But what about you?
Exactly how many weeks out of the year do you start a new diet every Monday?
How often do you tell yourself, “I’ll start again on Monday!”?
When you start that new diet every Monday, how easy is it for you stick to it past Wednesday?
How common is it that you falter and then tell yourself, “The weekend is right around the corner so I’ll just start again on Monday”….
Well know this: It doesn’t have to be like that! You don’t have to live with that back and forth struggle, stress, and strain of yo-yo dieting, diet obsession, and overall frustration with the struggle.
What would it feel like if you could live in peace with food and with your weight? AND be in the body you’d love to live in?
Sure, this does not mean that you’ll be sitting on the couch eating 3 boxes of cookies in one sitting. Of course that doesn’t make any sense, and I sure hope you wouldn’t buy into any crazy diet claims that tell you you’ll never have to change your lifestyle, because you DO need to make changes in order to get different results!
But you can live in peace with food and your weight once you heal the root of WHY you ever became overweight in the first place. After all, you were not born a compulsive overeating, yo-yo dieter, and food addict. You knew exactly how to eat and when to eat when you were a baby. You never wanted food if you weren’t physically hungry. You knew that that was not a fit for your body!
New Diet Every Monday Syndrome

At the beginning of the year I said that I would do at least one Get Real episode each month, and that’s what I’ve done. The purpose of a Get Real episode is to help you…Get REAL! If you stay in denial and paste a happy face on your struggles, the struggles don’t go away. Wishing and hoping isn’t enough. You actually need to Do Different Things to get different results. The most important “Things to Do” have to do with your Inner Self, since that’s where all of your resistance to changing your body lives!
Yes, it’s your mindset that is making weight loss extremely difficult for you today, and it’s also your mindset that could make weight loss extremely easy for you. If you transform your mindset at a core level, and replace your F.A.T. with a weight loss mindset.
When you have an F.A.T. Mindset (a mindset grounded in Fear Attracting Thoughts) your inside is a direct match to an overeating, overweight Outside. You must BE fit, slender, and healthy on the inside FIRST if you want to be fit, slender, and healthy on the outside, and have it last with ease and joy.
