How to Weigh Yourself the Right Way | Weight Loss Coaching with JoLynn BraleyIt might sound odd to think that there’s a right way to weigh yourself because really, isn’t it pretty simple to get on a scale and weigh yourself? In one respect it is simple but in another respect there are things that folks who are struggling with overeating and overweight are doing that are only making it harder for them to lose weight and keep it off. Therefore I’m sharing how to weigh yourself the right way in this week’s episode of The JoLynn Braley Show.

But first, before I forget, I stated in this week’s episode that I would share a link to the specific scale I recommend my coaching clients use and I recommend that anyone use so that you can weigh yourself the right way. You can click here to see that scale on Amazon, it’s the same brand I use and it measures all kinds of measurements in addition to the weight number.

You’re gotta be measuring all of the measurements on this scale in order to get a full picture and avoid driving yourself crazy.

How to Weigh Yourself The Right Way

How are so many driving themselves crazy by not weighing themselves the right way? Well the biggest mistake they are making is they are only tracking the main weight number on the scale.

The problem with this is that there can be weeks when that number doesn’t move but if you were taking your inches every week and if you were tracking your body fat percentage, water weight, muscle mass and more, then you’d have the FULL picture.

If you have a week where the weight number doesn’t change but the inches drop then you are still moving towards your ideal body. You’re doing great in this case! But for those who only track the weight number, they’d never know that they were actually making great progress during a week that the weight number doesn’t change.

Another mistake that many are making is they expect instant results on the scale. I’ve have weight loss coaching clients who before working with me in The Inner Self Diet to heal their binge eating, yo-yo dieting and emotional eating, they were weighing themselves three times per day.

Weighing yourself more than once per week will absolutely drive you crazy. It’s a project in insanity to weigh yourself more than once per week because the body just doesn’t transform instantly! Fat is released from the body over time, therefore it can only be tracked and measured over time.

In this week’s episode of The JoLynn Braley Show:

To Make Weight Loss Struggle-Free For YOU

Does it make sense that if you could just live a healthy lifestyle meal after meal, day after day, week after week without a struggle, without fighting yourself, without willpower or self-sabotage…. if you could really do this, then does it make sense that it would be simple to lose weight and keep it off?

How would you feel about yourself if you could stop binge eating, stop emotional eating, stop struggling, stop sabotaging yourself, and just move towards your ideal body at your ideal weight?

How would all areas of your life change if you could finally feel good in your own skin?

If you are serious about ending your food and weight struggles now so that you can finally lose weight and keep it off then click here for your first step. This is the same first step Holly did back in 2011 and she had been struggling with out-of-control binge eating for over 30 years.

Holly decided to do something totally different because she didn’t want to keep struggling with food and her weight. Good for her! So I coached her through my proven step-by-step system The Inner Self Diet back in 2011, she stopped binge eating in 2011, she lost the extra 20 pounds in 2011, and she’s kept that weight off all these years. She hasn’t returned to binge eating either.

Holly still sends me updates. Yay for Holly for being binge eating free and at her ideal weight since doing The Inner Self Diet in 2011. Good for her!!

If you want to stop your binge eating, stop your emotional eating, and you have the clarity of mind to realize that Einstein’s definition of insanity is real, then click here to take action with your first step towards stopping your binge eating now.  This is for you if you’d love to stop wondering why you’re so smart and successful professionally, BUT you can’t stop binge eating and you are fully committed to losing weight and keeping it off, but nothing you’ve done has worked because you couldn’t stop sabotaging yourself and you couldn’t stop binge eating.
